About us

Sweetwater Services is located in historic Sewickley Borough, a suburb of Pittsburgh.  We provide a complete range of behavioral health and personal growth services, including traditional therapy, family and couple therapy, school assessments, personality assessments, coaching, and social skills training.

Our therapists can provide faith-based or secular therapy, and have experience in both styles.

At Sweetwater, we are committed to evidence-based practice, and our therapists keep their education current by reading the latest psychology research and participating in continuing education opportunities.  Please feel free to ask about your therapist's theoretical orientation or any other concerns.

Our office is in a historic Victorian building, and we have no waiting room so your privacy is protected. Come in, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and tell us how we can help!

What to expect

If this is your first experience with psychological services or coaching, welcome! The following outline of the therapeutic process can help you understand what to expect from Erin or Jane.

01.

You’ll start by contacting us using this page or by telephone 412-573-9437 or text, and you’ll tell me what you’re looking for.

02.

At your intake session, you’ll get to know your clinician and she will learn about your goals and situation.

03.

Your clinician will devise a rough treatment plan to help you meet your goals. You’ll start meeting regularly and working toward those goals.

04.

Your clinician may assign you reading and skill practices to complete outside of your session. Once your goals are met, you’ll step down from treatment at your own pace.

Your goals are the only ones that matter.
